About the role
As a Cyber Security Specialist, you'll design, develop, and maintain cybersecurity products, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high security standards and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include incident response, threat monitoring, and stakeholder communication.
* Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards.
* Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
* Define access privileges, control structures, and resources to protect systems.
* Implement and maintain security controls.
* Respond to security incidents or breaches.
* Monitor systems and networks for intrusions and unusual activities.
* Stay updated on security developments and emerging threats.
Product Development and Support
* Design and develop cybersecurity products, including software and hardware solutions.
* Participate in product implementation, migrations, and installations.
* Configure and upgrade cybersecurity products, providing ongoing support.
* Monitor compliance with security standards and best practices.
* Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution and deployment.
* Maintain detailed documentation of designs, configurations, and procedures.
* Plan and execute security testing, including penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
* Assist in designing secure application architectures with authentication, access controls, and encryption.
Who we're looking for
Ideal candidates will have experience in incident management, API integration for security solutions, and key cybersecurity controls such as Anti-malware, EDR/XDR/NDR, SIEM, Email and Web Security, Vulnerability Management, and SOAR/automation. A good understanding of cybersecurity threats, mitigation techniques, and IT infrastructure (Windows, cloud platforms like Azure and AWS, networking, firewalls) is essential.
