The role
Job Title: Oracle Fusion Financial Systems Tester
Location: Remote (with an initial preference for onsite collaboration at the London office)
Reporting To: To Be Confirmed (TBC)
Contract Duration: Temporary – 20 Weeks
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financial Systems Tester to support the testing and validation of Oracle Fusion ERP and associated third-party applications. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring system quality, reliability, and compliance with business requirements through comprehensive testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Conduct functional, integration, performance, and security testing of Oracle Fusion ERP and related third-party applications to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Execute test scripts in accordance with approved test plans, identifying defects and providing supporting evidence to the Test Lead.
- Accurately record test results within the designated test management tool, including clear commentary, screenshots, and supporting documentation.
- Validate successful test executions and raise defects with sufficient detail to enable efficient investigation and resolution.
- Escalate issues and test failures through established governance and reporting processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Test Manager and Test Lead to ensure comprehensive coverage of end-to-end financial processes across Oracle ERP and integrated systems.
- Assist in the creation, review, and enhancement of test scripts and test scenarios.
- Identify areas of increased risk that require focused testing and additional validation.
- Perform comparison and stress testing of output files associated with data purge, redaction, anonymisation, and related activities.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience testing Oracle Fusion ERP solutions.
- Experience testing enterprise applications, including one or more of the following:
Oracle EPM
J.P. Morgan Banking platforms
Corporate Intranet solutions
Basware
IBM TM1
Barclaycard systems
- Experience using Azure DevOps or similar test management and defect tracking tools.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Desirable
- Experience testing database data management activities, including data purging, redaction, masking, and anonymisation.
- Experience supporting large-scale ERP implementation, migration, or transformation programmes.
