Job Description
We're looking for a
Senior Product Designer
to join our team on a 12-month fixed term contract, contributing to the design of a complex B2B SaaS application serving global specialty insurance industry (primarily focussed on the Lloyd's and London Market). You'll play a key role in shaping user experiences for our platform, collaborating closely with Business Analysts, Engineers, and other Designers to deliver intuitive, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end product design for core features of our insurance SaaS platform
* Translate complex workflows into elegant, user-friendly interfaces
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine product requirements
* Maintain and evolve our design system in Figma, ensuring consistency and scalability
* Advocate for user-centred design across the product lifecycle
* Mentor junior designers and contribute to design culture within the team
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
* Proven experience designing B2B SaaS applications, ideally in complex domains
* Strong proficiency in Figma, including component libraries and design systems
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Strong portfolio demonstrating thoughtful UX and UI design
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with London Market insurance workflows and terminology
* Experience mentoring or coaching less experienced designers
* Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices
