Mechanical Project Manager | Hospital Build | SW London / Surrey Project Manager is responsible for the successful management of all Mechanical services from initial client engagement through to final handover and the end of the warranty period. The role is critical in ensuring project delivery meets service, profitability, technical, and client satisfaction goals. As a key representative of the company, the Project Manager is expected to embody and promote the company's values of integrity, dependability, safety, pride, and quality. What We're Looking For We're seeking an experienced Mechanical Management professional to lead the delivery of mechanical works on a major construction project. You'll bring strong technical expertise, confident leadership, and the ability to drive programme, quality, and commercial performance. Key Requirements Solid background in mechanical systems, MEP coordination, and installation on complex projects Strong commercial awareness, including cost control and budget management Good understanding of HSE standards related to MEP works Ability to manage internal teams, subcontractors, and external partners Excellent stakeholder skills with experience working closely with clients and design teams What You'll Be Doing Leading the handover from Estimating into Construction Working with the Project Director to ensure the project is correctly resourced Validating the project and setting up business plans, cost controls, cash flow, and billing schedules Preparing key project documentation, including procurement plans, design schedules, programmes, s‑curves, and histograms Overseeing safety and quality plans for the project Mobilising subcontractors and labour in line with the delivery strategy Ensuring all project measures and deliverables are aligned before construction begins
