Salary: £47,181 – £50,269 a year plus £3,203 car benefit allowance

We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Manager to develop and deliver a range of commissioning strategies that will transform the lives of residents in Luton. The Commissioning Service in Luton sits within the broader Population Wellbeing Directorate and works together with our Health Partners and local Voluntary and Community Sector to find innovative and workable commissioning solutions. The Commissioning Service in Luton is on a journey, and has ambitious plans in place to shape the local care market over the next 2-3 years.


Responsibilities

The Commissioning Manager will act as a core member of our Commissioning Team – delivering work across a range of portfolios. They will develop new commissioning strategies and play a key role in monitoring the delivery of existing services to drive up performance. Applicants for this role will need to be able to meet work demands, targets and deadlines and also have the ability to manage staff and budget responsibilities.
