Program Quality EngineerGloucesterThe Program Quality Engineer is a customer facing role representing the quality department within the business and linking into the industrial sites. You'll act as the Quality representative within the Gloucester facility for one of our flagship programs, and deputise for the Program Quality Manager when required.Safran Landing Systems are a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, from commercial and business travel to military and defence fleets. You'll act as the Quality representative within the Gloucester facility for one of our flagship programs, and deputise for the Program Quality Manager when required.Key responsibilities:Point of contact of FAL, Product Support Engineers and Customer service to support investigation and traceability requestsLead cross-functional quality investigations including root cause analysis, immediate containment, corrective and preventative actions within challenging timescalePrepare and submit deviation / concession on QISAnalyse / Prepare Monthly FAL data for ReportingPrepare comprehensive report / presentation to support internal and external communication of investigationsPrepare and attend weekly Customer reviews or other reviewsLiaise with internal functions to undertake Quality Improvement activities to increase customer satisfaction and business targetsEnsure compliance to regulatory requirements, specifications and contractual requirementsParticipate to new product development or industrialisation activities where required (APQP, PFMEA, DVI, )What You'll Bring:Technical Qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC or degree)Knowledge of aerospace products and procedures (other industries will be considered)Demonstrable knowledge and application of Quality toolsKnowledge of aerospace processesUnderstanding of aerospace QMS & regulatory requirementsFrench language skills (desirable)Green BeltAnalytical thinkingAt Safran, we understand that diversity and inclusion make teams stronger and more effective, and as an organisation, we are committed to fair and equitable employment practices for everyone.We also know that some candidates may be put off applying for jobs where they don't meet 100% of the criteria outlined in the advert, however, we encourage anybody to apply if you can demonstrate a variety of skills and experience relevant to the requirements of this role.Please let us know if you would like to discuss any reasonable adjustments to the application or hiring process that may better facilitate your participation.TPBN1_UKTJ
