Our Mission Statement: We arecommitted to ensuring our patients and staff live happy, healthy lives.
Chatteris historically was the centreof the potato and carrot growing industry in Britain. The demographics of thepopulation have changed over recent years and the town is now home to a morevaried population including commuters and workers from overseas. The populationhas increased markedly and we have a high incidence of chronic diseases.
We introduced electronic medicalrecords in 1987 and in 1989 we commenced training registrars which at the timewas a first in South Fenland. The original surgery which itself had beenpurpose built in 1948, was too small for the rapidly growing population and wemoved into our new premises in 1994.
Our new building also housed two shopunits, one which continues to be a chemist and the other was an Opticians whichhas now become office space to deal with the increasing administration which wehave to do.
