GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Religious Education to join a thriving school in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who can engage students in the study of religions, ethics, and philosophical thinking, encouraging them to explore diverse perspectives and develop critical thinking skills.
Role Responsibilities of RE Teacher:
* Design and deliver stimulating RE lessons across all Key Stages.
* Teach essential concepts, religious traditions, ethical issues, and philosophical perspectives.
* Encourage discussion, critical thinking, and independent reflection.
* Track student progress, offer constructive feedback, and support academic growth.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enrich curriculum delivery and share effective teaching practices.
What You’ll Bring as an RE Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching RE within a school setting.
* Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make RE relevant and engaging.
* Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
