Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Chemical Operator on behalf of one of our well-established clients within the manufacturing and process industry.
Role Responsibilities:

Controlling and monitoring plant production rates to meet operational targets
*
Regular review of plant operations to ensure safe and efficient performance
*
Maintaining accurate plant and production records
*
Controlling production and packaging of finished products in line with customer specifications
*
Preventing identified major accident hazards through effective control measures within your area of responsibility
*
Carrying out routine inspections of plant areas during each shift
*
Ensuring full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation
Candidate Requirements:
*
Previous experience working with hazardous materials
*
Experience within a manufacturing or process environment (essential)
*
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
*
Ability to follow strict processes and documentation requirements
*
A current FLT licence is desirable but not essential
