Senior Care Assistant - Care Home - Bank
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support. Your role will involve supervising and inspiring a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager. You can also expect to support the clinical team in specific areas, such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. Like everyone here, as a Senior Care Assistant, you'll always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and play your part in creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
ABOUT YOU
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care to join us as a Bank Senior Care Assistant. We also need to see that you have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We're looking for warm-hearted, compassionate, and committed individuals who are dedicated to providing each resident with personalised care and support. You will have opportunities for career development through ongoing training, with many Senior Care Assistants progressing into Care Practitioner, Regional Carer, or nursing roles.
REWARDS & PACKAGE
Alongside competitive pay, you will enjoy true flexibility and numerous free learning and development opportunities. As one of the UK's leading healthcare providers, we are committed to the growth of all our staff. Since this is a Bank position providing cover as needed—for example, during annual leave or sick leave—the hours and days you work will vary. If you're eager to use your motivational and interpersonal skills in a caring organisation committed to high-quality care, this role offers a rewarding opportunity.
