Job Title: Cover Supervisor Location: Sheffield (S2, S3) Pay rate: £460 - £650 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time Play a key role in keeping lessons on track and ensuring students remain focused in a structured learning environment! GSL Education are currently seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to support schools in Sheffield, covering the S2 and S3 areas. The Cover Supervisor (CS) will manage classrooms during teacher absences, delivering pre-set work and maintaining a calm, purposeful atmosphere. Main Responsibilities: Supervise whole classes using lesson plans provided by teaching staff. Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies. Provide clear guidance and keep students engaged with their tasks. Record attendance and report any concerns to senior leaders. Uphold safeguarding standards at all times. Requirements of Cover Supervisor: Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting. Confidence in leading a classroom independently. Strong communication and organisational skills. Flexible and adaptable approach across different subjects. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). What’s in It for You?
