Panel Beater Job Title: Panel Beater Location: Enfield, EN1 Salary: £30,000 £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Evening Shift 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM (30-minute break) 2 Saturdays About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Panel Beater to join our busy, state-of-the-art bodyshop in Enfield. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in vehicle body repair, dent removal, panel alignment, and structural restoration. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are repaired to the highest standard, meeting both manufacturer and insurance specifications. Key Responsibilities: Carry out panel repairs, replacements, and alignments on a variety of vehicle makes and models. Perform dent removal, filling, sanding, and preparation of surfaces for painting. Use welding, cutting, and metalworking techniques to repair damaged vehicle bodywork. Conduct structural repairs to ensure vehicle frames meet safety and manufacturer standards. Inspect vehicles pre- and post-repair to guarantee high-quality workmanship. Work with estimators to assess damage and determine the correct repair approach. Maintain accurate repair records and documentation for each vehicle. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. Collaborate with paint sprayers, technicians, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow. Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair or equivalent qualification (preferred). Minimum 3-5 years experience as a panel beater in a bodyshop or garage environment. Proficiency with bodyshop equipment, including welding and pulling systems. Knowledge of vehicle body structures and alignment techniques. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality repairs. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.
