Mechanical Design Engineer / Draughtsman Rotherham £35 to £42K depending on experience One of the UK’s leading designers and manufacturers of bespoke materials handling, conveying systems & industrial equipment, with supporting structural framework, is looking to secure the services of a Draughtsman or Mechanical Design Engineer to join the Design Office. The company, with a heritage of over four decades, commenced trade supplying to the mining community and has since successfully diversified into new sectors including Power, Waste, Mining and Quarrying – where it enjoys a strong reputation of project delivery. Due to continued growth and increased projects, you will join a team of 5 highly capable engineers working on individual projects in a collaborative fashion. Your experience and interests may lie in draughting, or input with design, or customer liaison – there is a place for someone, and we’re interested in speaking with you to better understand how you might fit into and work best within the team. Desirable Experience / Qualifications * Minimum 5 years’ Design Experience * Skilled SolidWorks user – other CAD packages may be considered * Experience in Heavy Engineering / Structural Steelwork / Bespoke Industrial Equipment / Conveyors / Materials Handling systems / Water Treatment * Engineering Qualification – ideal HNC, Level 3 considered * A Health & Safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH) * Full UK driving licence In return the company will offer support, training, the diversity of different projects across multiple sectors and the chance to succeed within this thriving business where people are valued and encouraged to progress
