Year in Industry - Portfolio Management Placement 2026 at Spirax Sarco (targetjobs UK). This 12-month placement is based in Cheltenham, UK and is part of Spirax Group’s Steam Thermal Solutions business. The programme offers university students the chance to work across Portfolio Management and the Sourcing Centre of Responsibility, supporting launch of new products, developing business cases, creating marketing collateral, and contributing to supplier sustainability initiatives and product specification updates.
You will gain exposure to cross-functional teams including test labs, marketing, and global suppliers, building commercial acumen, technical understanding, and strategic thinking. Ideal for students studying STEM or business degrees who enjoy problem-solving and collaborative work.

Responsibilities
* Support the launch of new products and contribute to business case development.
* Develop marketing collateral and assist with product specification updates.
* Contribute to supplier sustainability initiatives and cross-functional projects with teams such as test labs and marketing.
* Build commercial acumen, technical understanding, and strategic thinking through hands-on work.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with a requirement to complete a work placement.
* Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship for the duration of the 12-month placement (July 2026 – July 2027).
* Passionate about gaining knowledge, collaborating on challenging projects, and starting a career in an industrial environment.
Dates & Eligibility
* Application Closing Date: Sunday 19 October 2025.
* Assessment Centre (on-site in Cheltenham): Tuesday 25 November or Tuesday 2 December 2025 (dates may vary by area of interest).
