GSL Education is currently seeking a passionate, experienced, and committed KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Loughton starting from September 2025. This is a full-time teaching position, ideal for an educator who thrives on inspiring young minds and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons to children in Years 3–6.
This role would suit a teacher with a solid understanding of the KS2 curriculum, a passion for inclusive education, and a desire to become a valued member of a dedicated school community. Main Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners across Key Stage 2
* Plan and prepare schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the national curriculum
* Track and assess pupil progress regularly using both formative and summative methods
* Provide regular feedback to pupils and parents/carers
* Create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across year groups and participate in whole-school initiatives
* Uphold safeguarding, behaviour management, and inclusion policies
* Contribute to the broader school community, including clubs, events, and enrichment activities

Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 in a UK school setting
* Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and current assessment frameworks
* Excellent classroom management skills with a positive and consistent approach
* Ability to differentiate instruction and support learners with a range of needs, including SEND and EAL
* Enthusiastic, reflective, and committed to professional growth
* Enhanced child workforce DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply through GSL)
* Right to work in the UK
