Role Overview: Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to support general haulage operations for a client based in Horncastle. This is a long term on going position, providing 5 days per week. Position: HGV Class 2 C Driver Location: Horncastle Lincolnshire Start Date: Immediate Employment Type: Long term - on going Recruiting Office: Driver Hire Lincoln Pay: £14.80 per hour (first 8 hours) £19.75 per hour (overtime after 8 hours) Weekly PAYE pay every Friday Key Responsibilities: 06:00 starts 10 - 12 hour days Complete 1–3 deliveries per day, both locally and nationwide Transport goods safely and efficiently Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain delivery records Communicate clearly with dispatch and clients Adhere to all safety and operational procedures All loads forklifted off at each delivery point Candidate Requirements: Valid UK HGV/LGV Class 2 C licence CPC qualification and digital tachograph card No major endorsements (maximum 6 penalty points) Hi-vis clothing and safety boots Personal transport to get to and from work Positive attitude and willingness to assist If you are interested in this position and are able to commit to long term work, please get in touch or hit the apply button now!
