We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to join our existing hard-working Facilities team. This role is key in supporting the delivery of high-quality facilities services across the council’s main offices in Havant.
The Facilities team handles a varied workload including Mayoral duties such as driving the Mayor of Havant to and from events, building maintenance and upkeep, parcel reception, meeting room setup, waste clearance, janitorial services, general support to building users, and occasional office moves. These tasks are undertaken on a rota basis.
We seek a driven Facilities Officer to join a small but busy team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Facilities Management, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude.
This role supports all Council employees; therefore, strong interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and teamwork are essential. The position offers a varied working week, requiring multitasking and a positive, can-do attitude. You will ensure all Facilities Management matters are addressed promptly, efficiently, and courteously.
A full driving licence is required for this post.
