Responsibilities
* You will work as part of our multi-discipline engineering team delivering projects spanning nuclear, new build energy generation, defence and decommissioning sectors and other regulated industries, gaining experience at all phases of the design lifecycle from concept through to detailed design for manufacture.
* You will be involved in the planning and execution of engineering and design activities, producing engineering drawings, documentation and calculations using tools such as AutoCAD, Inventor, AR, VR, 3D printing etc.
* You will study towards a Level 6 Degree qualification whilst gaining valuable work experience and earning a salary.

About you
* You’re fascinated by design, CAD, and how things work.
* You have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* You’re a team player with solid communication abilities.
* You’re eager to contribute to electrical or mechanical design in a real engineering environment.
* You will have (or be working towards) the minimum entry requirement of 96 UCAS points, A’ Levels including a mathematical‑based subject and a science/engineering subject, or equivalent Level 3 qualification. You will also have five GCSEs (or equivalent) including English, Maths and a Science at Grade 5 and above.

* Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend one of our Assessment Days in Spring term 2026.
