What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of DevOps, you will:
* Manage & monitor cloud-based systems and infrastructure, and databases
* Design automation, security, and redundancy strategies
* Optimise application and database performance alongside developers
* Write custom scripts to streamline operations
* Collaborate with vendors and the IT team
What's required to excel in this role
* Proven DevOps engineering experience in a team-based Agile environment
* Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible)
* Expertise in metrics-based monitoring, alerting, and automation
* Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) & CI/CD pipelines
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
* Advanced troubleshooting in Linux environments
* AWS certification & cloud administration experience (Azure/GCP a bonus)
