Your responsibilities:
* create and implement age-appropriate activities for young children
* provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
* foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
* monitor and assess children's progress and communicate with parents or guardians regarding their development
* collaborate with other educators and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
* maintain a clean and organised classroom.
What you will need:
* minimum of Level 3 in childcare
* previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting
* knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
* strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
* ability to adapt to the individual needs of each child and provide appropriate support and guidance
* CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
* ability to pass a background check.

We are a village preschool, that offers childcare for children aged between years. We have two playrooms; our Ladybird room is for children aged 2 - 3 years and our Bumblebee room is for children aged 3 - 4years. We also offer Breakfast club and Afterschool care for the children attending Elmswell Primary School. We have a very welcoming, friendly team, who have years of experience caring and supporting children in their development.
