Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Technician 1 for our Formulation Services Department located in Elphinstone, Tranent.
Working as an Assistant Technician 1 you’ll join a team responsible for the storage and control of test items and the preparation of formulations supporting toxicology studies.
Duties And Responsibilities Include
* Lab preparation and housekeeping
* Stock control, ordering, organisation and replenishment
* Calibration and maintenance of routine lab equipment
* Preparation of Vehicles, general reagents used to prepare formulations
* Disposals
* Glassware preparation
* Delivery of Formulations
* Taking archive samples, test item weighings
Applicants Should Have
* At least 3 NAT5s including Maths, English
* A good attention to detail
* IT skills
* Good communication skills

The salary for this position is £23,842.35 per annum. In exceptional circumstances where the candidate has relevant equivalent experience, this will be taken into consideration.

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance.
