Teaching Assistant (Year 6) – Primary School, Wythenshawe
Salary: £13.50 – £14.50 per hour
Contract: Full-Time

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our Year 6 team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about education to make a real difference as pupils prepare for their transition to secondary school.

Your Role Will Include:
* Working closely with the Year 6 teacher to support learning across the curriculum
* Assisting in the preparation and delivery of engaging lessons
* Providing targeted support for individuals and small groups, especially in English and Maths
* Supporting pupils’ emotional and social development, fostering a positive classroom environment
* Contributing to assessment and monitoring progress
* Ensuring the safeguarding and wellbeing of all pupils

* Has experience working with Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
* Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and a team player
* Understands the importance of high expectations and helping children reach their potential
