SEND Secondary Teacher
Location: Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent
Contract: Part -time (Thursday/Fridays )
Dates: ASAP Ongoing
Pay: £140 - £170.00 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Premier Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. This is a part-time position starting as soon as possible, teaching pupils with a range of additional needs within a specialist provision.
This role is ideal for experienced Teachers who are confident teaching pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language difficulties.
Responsibilities
· Support pupils within the classroom and/or specialist SEN provision
· Work closely with the SENCO to deliver tailored learning support
· Implement targeted interventions to support academic progress and emotional development
· Support pupils with communication, sensory, and behavioural needs
· Help create engaging learning resources and lessons
· Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
Requirements
· QTS in UK
· Experience teaching SEND children in a UK school, SEN setting, tutoring, care, or youth environment (essential)
· Experience teaching children with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, or SEMH (essential)
· A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach
· A genuine passion for teaching children with a range of learning needs
· Strong communication and teamwork skills
· Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
· Strong understanding of safeguarding in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE)
