At La Maison Ani, the reception is the heartbeat of the restaurant. The pace-setter, the energy-reader, the guest memory-holder. We’re looking for a Reception Manager who naturally watches the door, notices the details, remembers names, reads moods and understands that hospitality starts long before a plate reaches the table.
This role isn’t about answering phones.
It’s about presence.
Who You Are
You instinctively stand up when someone approaches.
You notice hesitation, celebrations, first dates and regulars within seconds.
You don’t just check availability. You curate experiences.
You understand pacing, table balance, and how a single seating decision can change the entire service. You support the floor without leaving the door. You support the kitchen without stepping into it. You support the guest without them noticing the effort.
What You’ll Do
* Lead and develop a polished host team
* Shape the reservations strategy and control the book
* Welcome VIPs, regulars and new guests with equal care
* Manage guest flow so service feels effortless
* Build relationships with concierges and repeat clientele
* Handle feedback with professionalism and emotional intelligence
* Be the communication link between floor, kitchen and management
