Project Sales Consultant

THE ROLE: As a Project Sales Consultant within this UK door manufacturer, you will manage a variety of customers and stakeholders across NHS and Hospital Estates as well as working closely with construction sector to secure specifications with Architects, Contractors, and installers. You will be selling a very strong brand of anti ligature doors. This role will involve long term project management, a juggling of many hats and working on tender frameworks for specific product requirements. Working as part of a close knit and highly successful sales team, you will represent a profitable and forward-thinking UK Manufacturer. The position will require you to demonstrate your understanding of specifiers and end users, from tender and brief through to managing contractors through the sales cycle. Key to success in this role is a proven track record of sales and strong sales process with effective communication techniques. Candidates from a door, hardware, access control or construction background with project based sales experience and working on specifications will be highly desirable. Previous knowledge of working with NHS Estates is useful but not essential.

They have an exciting pipeline of products for 2026 and a great opportunity to offer their specialist doors into other industry sectors. An entrepreneurial and fast paced environment with lots of ambition and energy.

We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

·2 years or more working in field sales, with evidence of cold calling and winning business

·Has sold a construction product rather than a service

·Ability to manage a pipeline of projects and long sales cycle

·A consultative, driven and professional salesperson with good attention to detail

·Understanding of public sector projects and has worked with Architects and Contractors

Salary: £50,000-60,000 d.o.e basic salary, plus £20-25k OTE, car allowance (or car scheme), 25 days holiday
