About the Role
We are seeking an outstanding Complex SEN Tutor to work 1:1 with learners who present a wide range of needs including (but not limited to):
1. Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
2. ADHD
3. Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
4. Severe learning difficulties
5. Speech, language and communication needs
6. Sensory processing differences
7. Emotional and behavioural regulation challenges
8. Trauma-related needs
Essential Requirements
9. Proven experience working with children or young people with complex and multiple SEN.
10. Deep understanding of neurodiversity, alternative communication methods, and trauma-informed practice.
11. Able to work independently and flexibly, often outside traditional classroom structures.
12. Resilience, patience, and creativity – with a problem-solving mindset.
13. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
14. Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, therapy or SEN (desirable but not essential – experience is key).
