At We Are Fun Scientists we motivate, inspire and entertain children through hands-on science fun. From bubbling potions to jaw-dropping experiments, our goal is to bring science to life with energy, creativity and the excitement of a live show.
We are seeking enthusiastic assistant presenters to support our lead Fun Scientists at children's parties and special events across London. This role is offered on an as-needed basis, with events taking place throughout the year across London. Our busiest periods are during Halloween and the festive season, when demand for parties and special events is particularly high. You will work alongside our Lead Fun scientists at children's parties and events, helping to deliver exciting, interactive experiments and keeping energy high.
Looking ahead, we are also planning to launch our circuit of school clubs and workshops across London, so there may be further opportunities for weekly part time work in future.
A love of science is a bonus, but the real magic lies in your ability to perform, engage and command a room. If you can captivate an audience, spark curiosity, and keep young scientists hanging on your every word, we want to hear from you.
With Halloween and the festive season around the corner, there's plenty of opportunity for training and shadowing before stepping into the spotlight. Attitude and social confidence are just as important as experience. We welcome people from all walks of life, whether you have taught in a classroom, performed on stage, or worked closely with children. Your experience could be a perfect fit.
