Assistant Headteacher Role
As an Assistant Headteacher, you will aim to achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes for the pupils as a member of the senior management team. You will assist the Head Teacher in the day‑to‑day running of the school and implement effective policies and procedures that support high educational standards.
Minimum Requirements
* QTS or QTLS qualification
* Similar SLT experience in an SEN environment
* Up‑to‑date OFSTED knowledge and understanding of the SEN education sector and desired outcomes
* Up‑to‑date safeguarding and child‑protection qualifications/knowledge and experience
Ideal Candidate
* Strategically oversee the school’s resources to support the achievement of educational objectives and priorities effectively and efficiently.
* Collaborate with the headteacher to clearly articulate, disseminate, ensure understanding of and effectively implement the school’s vision among all stakeholders.
* Prioritise pupil achievement, safety, and well‑being as the core focus of all school activities.
* Foster a culture of challenge and support to empower every student to succeed and actively engage in their learning journey.
* Articulate and uphold high expectations by setting ambitious targets for the entire school community.
* Exemplify the school’s values consistently through daily work and actions.
