Step 2 Clinical Supervisor - Nottinghamshire (maternity cover)
As part of the Nottingham Mental Health Leadership Team, the Step 2 Supervisors support Clinical Leads to maintain high standards of clinical delivery and effectiveness.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide and supervise Step 2 interventions recommended by NICE for clients with mild to moderate common mental health disorders, strictly adhering to the NHS TT Manual.
* Deliver comprehensive case management supervision for Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWPs) using an outcomes‑focused approach.
* Encourage reflective practice and facilitate clinical skills groups as needed.
* Maintain clinical competence and quality of supervisees’ work through regular clinical audits.
* Collaborate with Step 2 Clinical Leads and other leadership to drive service developments and achieve organisational objectives.
* May deputise for the Step 2 Clinical Lead at relevant meetings.
* Engage in a six‑month fixed‑term contract due to maternity leave.
Qualifications
* Experience in clinical supervision of PWPs or similar mental health practitioners.
* Knowledge of NICE guidelines and the NHS TT Manual.
* Strong adherence to clinical competency frameworks and audit management.
* Excellent communication, leadership and reflective practice facilitation skills.

Salary
£35,000 pro rata per annum, depending on experience.
