Responsibilities
* Lead the tool and plant hire department in the Maidenhead flagship branch.
* Develop and execute a sales action plan that exceeds budget performance through a proactive sales approach.
* Support the integration of tool and equipment hire into the wider Travis Perkins branch, enhancing staff knowledge of available services.
* Own P&L responsibilities, deliver targets, and set records while progressing toward branch management.
* Manage a dynamic team of 4 people and oversee dedicated vehicles.
* Coaching & training with the Branch Manager to uplift the team’s knowledge of tool hire.
* Ensure all tools and equipment are safe, maintained, and ready for use.
* Control stock levels to meet demand without excess inventory.
* Deliver outstanding customer service, upsell opportunities, and effective communication with the team and branch.
Qualifications
* Experience in tool hire, plant hire, or a leadership role; sales or customer service experience also valued.
* Strong leadership and team‑inspiring abilities.
* Safety awareness and commitment to safe operations.
* Proactive, results‑driven mindset suitable for a fast‑paced environment.

Working hours: Monday‑Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, and you’ll only work 2 Saturdays every 4 weeks (Saturdays are 8:00 am to 12:00 pm).
