The Installation Engineer will be responsible for the installation of Trimble hardware, including accurately measuring the machine control systems on OEM (Trimble Earthworks, GSC900) dealer machines and customers' construction equipment.

Major Job Functions
1. Installation: Providing on-machine installation of SITECH / Trimble equipment across OEMs, OEM Dealers, and Customers, including Dozer, Excavator, Grader, Paver, and Compactor systems.
2. Service: Maintenance, support call-outs, troubleshooting, and support for SITECH / Trimble equipment.
3. Measure & Calibration / Advisory / Consultation: Calibration and re-calibration of machine control equipment in the field.
4. Operations: Supporting installation, calibration, and planning to meet customer requirements.
5. Documentation: Ensuring operational quality through post-installation testing records.
6. Training & Development: Providing operator training and promoting technology integration on machines.
7. Operational Support: Supporting teams, stocks, vehicles, and process improvements.
8. Self-Management: Completing activities with high standards, aligned with team and company requirements.
9. Results: Focusing on customer satisfaction, first-time fix, and timely delivery to ensure high performance.
Specific Skills
* College or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Hydraulics, Electronic, or similar engineering
* Ability to troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical issues on heavy equipment
* Familiarity with construction site operations and machine control systems
* IOSH, RAMS, Health & Safety awareness, CSCS card
* Experience in Arc welding (useful but not essential)
* Operation of heavy construction equipment an advantage
* Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Office and research abilities
Knowledge
* Experience with construction equipment and technology
* Experience with ground survey/digital field equipment
* Understanding of installation, calibration, and service documentation
* Hands-on learning in a technology environment
