Job Description
The Reliability Engineer will be responsible for identifying and delivering initiatives to enhance equipment availability, extend asset life, and optimise maintenance strategies. The successful candidate will apply reliability engineering principles and data-driven methodologies to identify failure modes, recommend improvements, and ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations in a high-hazard onshore environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain reliability models (e.g., RCM, FMEA,) for critical rotating and static equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, turbines).
2. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) following any significant equipment failure or performance deviation; produce clear, actionable reports with lessons learned.
3. Lead failure mode, effects & criticality analyses (FMECA) to prioritise maintenance activities and drive design improvements.
4. Implement and oversee condition monitoring techniques (vibration analysis, oil analysis, thermography) to detect early signs of degradation.
