Lead Surveying Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified surveying professional to lead our team of surveyors working on rent renewals for local councils. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and skilled leader with a strong background in landlord and tenant matters, particularly within the public sector.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing teams of surveyors handling rent renewals and property transactions, as well as producing detailed reports on property valuations and transactions. They will also be able to review and challenge team outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness, provide expert guidance on landlord and tenant issues, and apply knowledge of Section 106 agreements in housing contexts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of surveyors handling rent renewals and property transactions.
* Produce detailed reports on property transactions and valuations.
* Review and challenge team outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
* Provide expert guidance on landlord and tenant issues, particularly within local authority housing.
* Apply knowledge of Section 106 agreements in housing contexts.
Requirements:
* MRICS qualified (essential).
* Proven management experience in a surveying environment.
* Strong understanding of landlord and tenant law, especially in the public sector.
* Experience with Section 106 housing agreements.
* Background in both local authority and private practice property services.
* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
