Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing Factory Assistant to join our production team. This is a full-time position supporting daily factory operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.
This is based in Upper Caldecote and local areas.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with assembly, production, and packaging of products
* Operate basic machinery and equipment (training provided)
* Prepare and organize materials for production runs
* Perform quality checks on finished goods
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area
* Follow all health and safety procedures
* Support stock control and inventory management
* Assist with loading/unloading deliveries when required
Requirements
* · Previous factory or manufacturing experience preferred but not essential
* · Assist in executing daily fabrication tasks under supervision
* · Assemble component parts to a high standard of accuracy and quality
* · Operate hand and power tools proficiently
* · Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards
* · Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental guidelines
* · Maintain a clean and organized work area
* · Minimize material waste through efficient usage
* · Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* · Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* · Good attention to detail
* · Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
* · Basic understanding of workplace safety
* · Full UK driving licence
