I am currently working with a Local Authority in the North East who are looking to appoint an Environmental Health Officer to join their Environmental Protection team.
About The Role
I am assisting a Local Authority in the North East with the appointment of an experienced Environmental Health Officer to support the team with the investigation and management of environmental protection complaints.
The role will primarily involve investigating complaints related to noise, dust, odour, and statutory nuisance. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspections, managing a technical caseload, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental legislation.
This is a full-time, office-based position for an initial duration of 3 months.
About The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a qualified EHO with strong, demonstrable experience specifically within Environmental Protection. You should be confident in investigating statutory nuisances and progressing enforcement actions independently.
Rates
Rates are competitive and negotiable based on experience. Please state your expected hourly or daily fee upon application.
When
The client is looking to review submissions immediately after the Easter break and appoint as soon as possible.
