Pharmaceutical Sales - Territory Manager, Rheumatology (MANCHESTER, NH)

Summary
The Territory Manager will drive the sale and promotion of Lilly products within a distinct territory, partnering with Lilly and reporting to the Vanigent Business Director, Rheumatology. The role involves effective sales engagements with targeted customers, meeting or exceeding account activity expectations, and leveraging educational resources and market insights.
Essential Functions
* Performs all required duties in assigned territory, promoting aligned products within Rheumatology team.
* Adheres to internal policies, procedures, and PhRMA code.
* Meets or exceeds established expectations for account/call activity and territory time.
* Selects and deploys HQ‑approved educational programs and resources to drive opportunities across target accounts.
* Navigates a dynamic healthcare ecosystem with strategic thinking to gain access and advance patient impact.
* Analyzes sales information to recommend actions maximizing aligned brand strategy.
* Develops deep understanding of disease state, products, marketplace, and key competitors.
* Creates customer value, demand, and advocacy for the brand.
* Builds and maintains relationships with decision makers in account to execute brand strategy.
* Utilizes all marketing and selling materials for physicians, healthcare providers, and clinic personnel.
* Plans and organizes activities for consistent territory coverage.
* Participates in training and development programs while complying with industry and corporate policies.
Qualifications
* BA/BS Degree required.
* Minimum 2 years pharmaceutical sales experience.
* Immunology experience preferred.
* Proven track record of sales success.
* Experience navigating complex accounts within integrated health systems.
* Understanding of specialty pharmacy distribution model.
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, including overnights and weekends.
* Must pass background check and drug screening.
* Must live in the territory.
* Proficiency with CRM platforms.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
* Completion of all required training within specified timelines.
Additional Preferences
* Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) if required for assigned territory.
Additional Information
* Provide secure, temperature‑controlled location for product samples if required.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual base salary ranges from $90,000 to $115,000, with potential incentive compensation, commissions, and bonuses based on performance. Eligible for company car through Vanigent’s Fleet Program.
