I am working with a leading utilities company who are seeking a new Business Development Manager who will be responsible of driving and developing sales for a Kent start up. They are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in sales to drive our sales growth and establish new business partnerships within the UK market.
Day-to-day of the role for Business Development Manager:
* Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the UK market, targeting key opportunities and customers.
* Foster and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders to strengthen the company’s market position.
* Work closely with marketing and product development teams to introduce and promote new products and services.
* Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
* Manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics, providing regular reports to the executive team.
* Represent the company at industry events to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
* Uphold industry regulations and standards, focusing on sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Business Development Manager:
* At least 10 years of experience within a senior sales position
* Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and meeting revenue targets
* Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a sales team.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Frequent travel within the UK for client meetings and events.
* Dedication to sustainable business practices and renewable energy promotion.
