The Opportunity & Role Profile
This well-regarded independent day school requires a dedicated Facilities Manager to lead its operational team. The school is looking for a proactive manager to maintain the estate's high standards, manage ongoing maintenance, and ensure the campus provides an exceptional learning environment for all pupils.
Core Responsibilities & Scope
* Estate Guardian: Overseeing the entire school estate, including maintenance, utilities, security, and grounds keeping.
* Compliance Controller: Managing all risk assessments, health and safety documentation, and ensuring the school meets all legal and statutory requirements specific to the United Kingdom.
* Budget Overseer: Working closely with the Bursar to manage premises budgets, procure services, and control spending effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
* Essential Requirements: Proven managerial experience in facilities or estates management, strong organisational skills, and knowledge of UK compliance standards.
* Salary Range: Highly competitive salary (expected to be £45,000 - £55,000 per annum).
