We are seeking an experienced and qualified electrician to join our dynamic team. The role involves undertaking all aspects of electrical installations, LED lighting projects, minor works, and testing & inspection where applicable. You will work on projects across retail, industrial, commercial, and government sectors, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
* Install LED lighting and electrical systems to specification.
* Collaborate with the Lighting Project team, sub-contractors, and Project Manager to meet project deadlines.
* Work from electrical drawings, including installation diagrams, circuit layouts, and schematics.
* Deliver a first-time quality installation with minimal rework.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
* Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time.
* Maintain responsibility for company vehicle and materials.
* Adapt to technical changes and attend training as required.
* Undertake additional duties as instructed by the Project Manager.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Fully qualified to 18th Edition IEE Regulations (2383-18).
* 2391-52 Test & Inspection (desirable, training provided).
* SSSTS Accreditation (desirable, training provided).
* Skills & Experience: Knowledge of EV charging units (desirable, training provided).
* IPAF & PASMA certifications (desirable, training provided).
* Ability to work nights and stay away from home (Mon–Fri).
* Comfortable working at heights (up to 3m) and lifting up to 25kg.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize workload.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Full UK driving license.
* Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Commitment to safety and quality standards.
