You’ll play a vital role in driving engineering standards, improving vehicle availability, and supporting innovation in cryogenic and compressed gas transport.What you’ll be doing:Overseeing new vehicle builds, refurbishments, and system specifications for Bulk, Cryospeed and Special Gases vehicles – including hydrogen and heliumActing as the Primary Technical Authority for Bulk and Cryospeed vehicles and Secondary Technical Authority for PGPDriving continuous improvements in engineering standards and vehicle complianceSupporting and developing in-house workshops and supplier baseDelivering in-house training and ensuring compliance with SHEQ standardsBuilding strong working relationships with suppliers, external bodies (e.g. DVSA), and internal teams including QA, Procurement and Mechanical EngineeringWhat we’re looking for:Extensive experience in LGV Engineering and MaintenanceUnderstanding of ADR regulations and hazardous goods transportTechnical knowledge of road tanker and compressed gas trailer systemsStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsCommercial awareness and a collaborative approachA technical qualification (e.g. C&G Technician’s Certificate)ADR Licence (Class 2, tanks & packages) essentialLGV C+E Licence (desirable)This position is open to individuals from all backgrounds.
