We’re committed to delivering *safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible transport services*, and we’re now looking for an experienced *PSV/HGV Technician* to help keep our mixed fleet in top condition.This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly support fleet reliability, safety, and reduced environmental impact—ensuring our passengers and clients can rely on us every day.*The Role*As a PSV/HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet, ensuring all vehicles meet safety, legal, and company standards.*Key Responsibilities:** Carry out scheduled servicing and inspections across PSV vehicles, HGV lorries, and vans in line with the company’s inspection programme* Diagnose and repair vehicle defects efficiently and accurately* Complete inspection, defect, and audit reports using Hunters’ internal reporting systems* Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and ensure compliance with all regulations* Assist colleagues with roadside breakdowns when required* Use a range of diagnostic equipment (full training provided)*What We’re Looking For** Recent hands-on experience in a PSV, bus depot, HGV, van, or fleet workshop* Apprentice trained with *City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3* in PSV or HGV Mechanics* An inquisitive mindset with a passion for improving engineering and maintenance processes* Strong communication skills and a professional, team-focused attitude* Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical approach to fault-finding*What We Offer** Full-time, permanent position (*40 hours plus per week*, Monday–Friday) on a Day Shift Basis.
