Client Bookkeeper - Full or Part Time
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a new opportunity? We have a fantastic opening for a Client Bookkeeper within a well established and reputable accountancy practice based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Join a dynamic team and contribute to a range of client bookkeeping duties, utilising various software including Xero, Quickbooks, Freeagent, and Clearbooks.
Role and Responsibilities:
* Perform bookkeeping duties for a variety of clients
* Assist clients with bookkeeping and software queries
* Manage VAT Returns and liaise with clients to ensure timely completion
* Complete bank reconciliations and prepare necessary schedules and reports
* File VAT and CIS returns and ensure all client work is completed within set timescales
Requirements:
* Demonstrable bookkeeping experience
* Familiarity with cloud bookkeeping software, specifically Xero
* Strong customer service skills and knowledge of VAT
* Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and pay close attention to detail
* Desire to be a proactive team member and ideally previous experience in an accountancy practice
