This is a fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave - starting week beginning 5th January 2026 until 3rd July 2026. It is term time only. This exciting and rewarding role will involve providing advice and support for deaf children and young people at home and in a range of educational settings by: teaching and modelling of support strategies for all staff; encouraging independence; providing direct intervention to enhance language development and to ensure equality of access with hearing peers. You will also be directly involved with the organisation and delivery of our various events and groups that directly support deaf children and young people and their families. These include a family support group, youth group, termly events and parents workshops.
