Role Overview
A Role with Purpose: Join a child‑centred company committed to reimagining the world of support for vulnerable young people. We support pupils and students ranging from KS1‑KS5, referred by local authorities and schools, by planning and delivering flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring. We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND and SEMH needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide CPD and employee mentoring through the TES CPD suite and professional mentor access.
* Support the SEND Support Team to keep a team around you and the child.
* Plan and deliver flexible, trauma‑informed tutoring and mentoring sessions for pupils KS1‑KS5.
* Plan lessons, report outcomes and provide regular feedback on student progress.
* Participate in community and company events for knowledge sharing and resources.
* Benefit from a referral programme by earning rewards for successful tutor referrals.
Qualifications & Experience
* 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD in a holistic, trauma‑informed way.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS).
* Familiarity with core subjects English, Maths, and/or Science.
* Enhanced DBS (facilitated if needed) and at least 2 professional references.
* Right to work in the UK and based in the UK; remote/online work possible.
* Knowledge of safeguarding and experience creating a safe learning environment.

Location & Pay
Rowlands Gill, Tyne And Wear – £28 – £35 per hour.
