Role Overview: Teach and plan lessons in line with the national curriculum for Key Stage 1, including English, Maths, Science, and Foundation subjects. Use different teaching methods to meet the needs of all students, including those with additional learning needs. Manage behaviour positively to create a safe and happy classroom. Encourage children to be curious, confident, and eager to learn. Follow safeguarding and school policies to always ensure student safety. Role Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience working with children in KS1 is preferred. Good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment expectations. Strong classroom management skills with patience and understanding. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
