We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading UK Telco provider who is hiring for a Senior Network Test Engineer for a 3-month rolling contract.
Note: The candidate must be prepared to visit Bradford at least once to understand the test lab environment.
Required Skills/Experience:
1. Manual / Automation Testing
2. Data Networks
3. L2 & L3 (Metro Ethernet Networks)
4. Cisco switches
5. Juniper
6. Full automation skills in Python or Bash
7. Experience with Testing Tools such as Ixia, Byteblower, Wireshark, etc.
8. Meraki
9. Ansible
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
1. Assistance with test environment design, test strategy, and test planning
2. Commissioning & installing (kit, software, test environment)
3. Configuring
4. Monitoring
5. Basic networking
