Overview

As a Pupil Support Officer at Cromwell Community College, you will play a vital role in supporting students throughout their academic journey by delivering high-quality pastoral care. In this role, you will work closely with pupils on a daily basis, act as a key point of contact for parents and carers, and liaise with external agencies to ensure pupils receive the support they need - strong communication skills are key! You will also facilitate restorative conversations between pupils, meet with students to address attendance concerns, and identify, recognise, and support the individual needs of each pupil.

We are seeking an outstanding Pupil Support Officer who wants to make a difference in the development of young people. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who will consistently demonstrate the ability to enthuse and motivate young people, show compassion and empathy, and have the determination and discipline that is needed to support all students to thrive.

* Has a desire to ensure support, opportunity and challenge is available for all students under their care.
* Demonstrates excellent teamwork, organisation and attention to detail.
* Is able to create a positive working environment.
* Will guide and support other staff to achieve the academy's goal of ensuring every child can succeed.
* Has experience working with school aged students, in a professional setting.
* Is reflective, resilient, ambitious, and committed to professional growth.
* Will engage with all aspects of school life, including parents and the wider community.

If you are ready for the next chapter of your career, we would love to hear from you.
