TPF Recruitment, Kent's leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is partnering with a renowned firm of chartered accountants in Maidstone to recruit an Accountancy Practice Client Manager.
This role offers a blend of tax and accounts work within a general practice setting, alongside management responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Accounts & Tax Manager eager to join a growing team with excellent career prospects and broad client exposure. The firm serves clients across various industries, sectors, and sizes, providing a diverse and engaging workload.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and finalise accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
* Produce and finalise management accounts.
* Prepare and complete personal tax computations and returns.
* Advise clients on financial and taxation matters.
* Support VAT, payroll, and CIS processes as needed.
* Review work and provide guidance to junior team members.
* Conduct regular client meetings and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements
* Qualifications: Partially or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, AAT, or equivalent.
* Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficient in bookkeeping, accounts preparation, and up-to-date with recent regulatory and technical changes.
* Software Skills: Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage. Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and other accounting software.
* Time Management: Excellent ability to self-organise, prioritise tasks, and manage workloads effectively.
* Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with both clients and colleagues.
