Based within our Strata Solicitors in Northamptonshire, you will be reporting directly to the Claims Team Manager within the motor claims handling team. You will be handling your own pre litigated caseload of claims brought in by third parties for their personal injury, motor and property losses. How you'll make an impact Assessing liability and setting and maintaining reserves in accordance with client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”. Investigation of merits of third party claim. Telephone and correspondence negotiation with third parties, third party insurers and third party representatives to agree settlement in the quickest possible time. Capture of third party personal injury, hire and repair. Instruction of own repair, hire provision, loss adjusting and investigation support partners. Working on and with the on line “RaPID Claim Settlement Portal”. Valuing General and Special Damages claims in Third Party Personal Injury Claims. On all own handled claims ensure full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”. Achieving on all own handled claims 100% data integrity compliance on the office case management system. Working within and supporting the team to achieve and maintain full compliance with all office protocols, client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators”. Instructing and liaising with client panel solicitors on litigated claims. Full compliance on all financial transactions with the client service level agreements and client “key performance indicators” and The Solicitors Accounts Rules. Handling the higher value/complex/client sensitive third party motor claims. Acting as a technical and procedural referral for claims handlers. About you 5 Years Third Party claims handling in a legal / insurance/ claims management environment to include third party personal injury claims. Demonstrable self-motivation and initiative. Ability to work independently as appropriate but within a defined structure and to work effectively with Peers and Managers.
