Sureserve Compliance Central We are a national company offering market leading heating & hot water solutions from a network of regional offices across the East of England and the Midlands, strategically positioned to ensure comprehensive coverage and uncompromised access to our clients We are are looking for an experienced and driven Renewables Surveyor / Technical Lead to support the delivery of high‑quality domestic renewable energy installations. This is a key role working across surveying, design, compliance, and quality assurance, while supporting our installation and service teams to deliver first‑class outcomes for our customers and clients. The Role You will take ownership of pre‑ and post‑installation surveying activities, system design, quality inspections, and compliance across a range of renewable and heating technologies. Working closely with our operational teams, supply chain, and clients, you will help ensure every project is delivered to the highest technical and professional standards. Key Responsibilities Complete pre‑ and post‑installation surveys, including all assessments required for relevant renewable technologies and accreditations Design new systems in line with British Standards, Codes of Practice, and MCS requirements Carry out post‑installation quality inspections, ensuring installations meet our quality standards and exceed customer expectations Undertake EPC surveys and whole‑house retrofit assessments, producing certification where required Provide day‑to‑day technical and operational support to installers, service engineers, electricians, multi‑skilled operatives, administration teams, and Resident Support Advisors Support Install and Service Administrators with planning, scheduling, and coordination of works Liaise closely with clients, residents, supply chain partners, and engineers Work alongside Resident Support Advisors to ensure customers are fully informed ahead of works, using manufacturer guidance and clear communication Provide technical advice and expertise across the business on heating and renewable technologies Promote a culture of quality, professionalism, and continuous improvement, encouraging employee development and strong team engagement General Duties Support the Management Team with MCS compliance, including annual assessments and ongoing alignment with industry standards Stay up to date with new technologies and industry developments, attending training, seminars, and exhibitions as required (full support provided) Produce detailed heating design line diagrams using CAD software Represent the company professionally at client meetings, tenant forums, and complaint reviews Undertake site visits to support teams and resolve technical issues Identify and coordinate relevant manufacturer training to support specialist project delivery Attend and support client and customer consultation meetings Complete post‑inspection remedial actions where necessary Carry out Health & Safety checks in line with company and legal requirements What We’re Looking For Strong experience within the renewables and heating sector Sound knowledge of MCS standards, British Standards, and compliance requirements Experience completing EPCs and retrofit assessments Ability to interpret and produce technical designs and CAD drawings Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive, professional approach with a strong focus on quality What We Offer A key technical role within a growing renewables business Ongoing training and professional development Supportive management and collaborative working environment Opportunity to help shape quality standards and future growth Benefits Employee wellbeing programme, occupational health support, telephone support- counselling for staff Service level awarded annual leave Technical training and certifications relevant to the role.
